Remove the baseboard trim around the perimeter of the room in. In this video i am showing how to install laminate flooring for the first time. For proper installation the subfloor or old flooring surface must be flat smooth and clean. Start at one edge of the flooring and slide your fingertips under the edge of the outermost strip of laminate. Start the disassembly in one of the corners on the groove side.
